If you are planning to see Mayan ruins while in Belize, Lamanai is a wonderful excursion! Our guide, Jeevan, is so knowledgeable about the people and culture of Belize and made this experience unforgettable. The traditional Mayan lunch was delicious, and I even braved climbing to the top of the high temple. I don’t like heights but this was amazing and so worth facing my fear!
